Tap-type screw
Tap-type screw refers to tapping screw with a triangular body, which can be fastened simply by screwing it into a pre-drilled hole. Unlike standard round cross-section tapping screw, because of its triangular shape, it has less fastening resistance and is less prone to loosening compared to regular tapping screw.
Type P tap-type screw
Type P is designed for plastic, featuring a large pitch and two threads, which results in fast fastening speed and high work efficiency. In addition, it has the advantage of preventing whitening of the plastic and reducing the likelihood of material cracking.
Type S tap-type screw
Type S can shape female threads, similar to the Type P. The cross-sectional shape of the screw is triangular, allowing for contact with the counterpart material at three points, which reduces torque during tightening and enhances holding power. Additionally, because it has the same pitch as small screw, it is possible to fasten small screw after removing the S-type.
Type C tap-type screw
Type C can accommodate small screw and self-tapping screw Type-3 with the same pitch and screw diameter, allowing for the insertion of the nut for metric coarse thread.
Type B tap-type screw
Type B is improved versions of the self-tapping screw Type-2, suitable for fastening to thin plates and plastics.
